I've been on an iPhone video editing/producing kick lately thanks to Cameo. It's got my creative digital interests wound up in exciting knots, reminding me how much I enjoy telling stories. I fight the urge to label myself "story teller." Nonetheless, that is exactly what I am. In word. In paint. In image. I tell stories. My stories. Life stories. Stories laced in fantasy and saturated in whimsy--whatever genre, whatever theme I may grapple with, I'm a story teller.
Naturally, the stories I tell are the ones I'm most confident with sharing (though I'd like to evolve and be totally okay sharing the stories in my soul that scare me, that force me to tremble when recalling and recounting... soon, I hope), and those tales are always about my own little tail, Takoda. In the snow. In the kitchen. Enjoying a Saturday with a good friend. Takoda's existence is the happiest story I know. Everyday is a good day. Every moment spent in the fresh air is exhilarating. Every glance is full of love and devotion.
She is my most uplifting story. Enjoy.
